From Wildland Firefighting to Residential Tree Care
Jake started his career in 2017 with the California Conservation Corps before joining the USFS Elk Mountain Hotshot Crew in 2018. As a member of this elite wildland firefighting unit, he battled fires across California and the United States through 2021 while working toward his degree in Sustainable Agriculture. In 2022, Jake transitioned to residential tree care, spending three years honing his arboriculture skills before founding Greater Bay Tree Care in 2025.
